Trifocal lens surgeries, which have been used quite frequently in recent years and are one of the newest technologies in the treatment of eye diseases, can treat both cataracts and refractive errors such as myopia, astigmatism, hyperopia and presbyopia in a single operation.
Trifocal Lens surgeries have been practiced for more than 15 years. There is no need to have cataract disease for trifocal lens treatment. It is a surgical procedure preferred for people over the age of 45 who have near and far vision problems and whose eye structure is found appropriate after a detailed examination. People can continue their lives without using any glasses. After trifocal lens surgery, which takes about 10 minutes and can be performed under local anesthesia, the person can return to normal life the next day. Since this surgery is performed through small incisions, no stures are used. It is also possible to perform Trifocal lens surgeries with Femtosecond Laser technology without using any knifes.
